Quintillus Caecilius Metellus was a pro-Sullan politician and general who was Roman consul in 80 B.C., he was the principal Senatorial commander during the Sertorian War, fighting along side Pompeius Magnus. He earned the nickname "Pius" from his multiple attempts to have his father recalled from exile.
