An Attractive Indus Valley Elliptical Jar. An Indus Valley elliptical jar from the Nal Culture of Baluchistan, c. 2900 – 2500 BC, the upper shoulder nicely decorated with a repeating geometric design in orange, yellow and brown slip. Intact and a much scarcer type. Light earthen deposits. H: 2 ¾” (6.9 cm): Dia: 5” (12.7 cm). Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range: $250-$300.
