An Attic Fish Plate & Greek Shallow Bowl. An Attic fish plate and a shallow bowl. The fish plate, Attic, c. 5th Century BC, with convex surface and central depression, the rim folded downward, thick and heavy ring foot. D: 8” (20.3 cm). Repaired from sherds. The second is a Greek shallow bowl, c. 3rd Century BC, with small raised foot. W: 6 ¾” (17.1 cm). Few minor chips, warped during firing with crack. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range: $250-$350.
