A Lot of Roman Spoons & Implements. A group of Roman spoons and implements, c. 2nd - 4th Century AD. Lot includes a large goose-neck spoon, 10.9 cm; a spoon for fish sauce, L: 9.7 cm; a pair of bronze tweezers, both fully operational, L: 80 cm & 43 cm; a Roman bronze hairpin with knob terminal, L: 9.9 cm; a Roman bronze finishing chisel, L: 8.1 cm; and a late Roman implement topped by a bird, the base with the top of a loop, L: 6 ½” (16.5 cm). A nice mixed group of items, the spoon with losses to the handles. Ex Orange County private collection. Value Range: $250-$350.
