Thrace, Byzantion. ca. 3rd century B.C. AE 25 (24.64 mm, 9.38 g, 1 h). Head of Dionysos right, hair wreathed in ivy / BYΞAN[TI] // EPI / AΣΩΡIOY , legend vertically downwards to right and left of Poseidon standing facing, head left, holding Nike and trident. Schönert-Geiss 1105; Macdonald 394; Paris 351; Istanbul 343; Warsaw 55790. VF, green patina with brown highlights, a little lost from margins due to oblong shape of flan.
