Maedonian mint, ca. 335-323 B.C. - lifetime issue Head of Alexander as young Hercules right, wearing lion-skin headdress, paws tied at neck, all within dotted border / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, name horizontally between bow in bow-case, top to left and club of Hercules, handle to left; beneath, HP monogram. Price 333; Mueller 221. VF, light green, smooth patina, somewhat chipped around margins of rims.
