Head of Athena left wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with leaping griffon / PHΓINΩN, ethnic vertically downwards to right of Athena standing left holding Nike and spear, resting hand on shield; (thunderbolt?) above Π (mark of value) in field left . HN Italy 2554; SNG ANS 756. Near VF, bright green patina with brown deposits obverse, light green patina with brown deposits reverse. rare.
