Moesia, Istros. civic issue. Late 5th-4th centuries B.C. AR drachm (17.6 mm, 4.81 g, 11 h). Two facing male heads, face on right inverted / ΙΣΤΡΗ, ethnic above sea-eagle left, grasping dolphin, beneath, to left, in talons; K to right, between wing and tail feathers, T (pellet) below. Cf. AMNG I 450; SNG Tübingen 816. NGC F, scratches obverse, lightly toned.
