Syria, Seleukis and Pieria. Antiochia ad Orontem. Pseudo-autonomous civic issue under Roman rule. 39-18 B.C. AE 19 (19.42 mm, 7.63 g, 12 h). Antioch mint. Laureate head of Zeus right / [Α]ΝΤΙΟΧΕΩ[Ν] / ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕΩΣ - [A]YTONOM[OY], Zeus enthroned left holding Nike and scepter (date off-flan in exergue). Cf. RPC 4237-9. Near VF, black-green patina on devices with yellowish ochre deposits in recesses and fields.
