An excellent Moche figure from Peru, ca. 400 - 700 A.D. It is 7-3/4? high and portrays a Moche lord holding a scepter. His body is shown emerging from the Sacred Mountains, with each tip highlighted in dark brown. He is adorned with a fancy necklace and matching belt. Intact, with good paint and strong mineral deposits. Value range: $800- $1000.
