A pair of nice Harappan jars from the Indus Valley, ca. 2500 - 1800 B.C. The first is 2-1/2? high and is decorated with a register of Ibex, set off with linear d?cor. The second is 2-1/8? in diameter and is decorated with linear and geometric designs. Nice examples, with strong paint, red highlights and good mineral deposits. Value range: $250 - $350.
