Christ Pantokrator seated facing on backless throne, wearing nimbus cruciger, pallium, and colobium, raising right hand in benediction, book of Gospels with five pellets on cover cradled on left arm; IC-XC across fields / I ΔCC ΠO TH to left; Θ ЄΓ P IΓ to right, John II standing facing on left, wearing crown, divitision, and chlamys, St. George standing facing on right, nimbate, wearing military dress, sword in left hand, both holding between them long patriarchal cross set on three steps. SBV 1942; DOC 8c. VF, attractive gold and red highlights.
