Macedon, Pella or Dium. Tiberius. A.D. 14-37. Æ as (26.9 mm, 10.50 g, 5 h). TI CAESAR AVG F AVGVSTVS, bare head right / blank. cf. RPC 1536. VF, mint error. An interesting mint error most likely caused by a blank planchet coming between the reverse die and this coin, causing the flat surfaces to transfer to the reverse of this piece. Somewhere out there is another coin with just a reverse strike and a blank obverse.
