MIXAHL S ΘЄOL, crowned facing busts of Michael on left, wearing chlamys, and Theophilus on right, wearing loros / Large M; cross above, Θ below. SBV 1652; DOC 21. gVF, black patina, minor pitting. Scarce.

Sear notes that this type is typically found overstruck on Syracusian folles of Leo V and Constantine, this coin is clearly struck on a fresh flan. Nice for type.
