Anonymous (attributed to Michael IV). Ca. 1034-1041. AE follis (27.6 mm, 8.74 g, 7 h). Anonymous class C. Constantinople mint. +ЄMMANOVHA, three-quarter length figure of Christ standing facing, wearing nimbus crown, pallium, and colobium, and raising right hand in benediction; in left hand, he holds the book of Gospels, IC-XC in fields / IX-XC/NI-KA, jewelled cross with pellets at each extremity.
