Theodore I Comnenus-Lascaris. 1205/8-1221. BI trachy (23.8 mm, 1.13 g, 5 h). Magnesia mint. Full-length figure of Christ standing facing, nimbate, wearing tunic and colobion, right hand raised in benediction and holding book of Gospels; IC-XC in fields / ΘЄOΔWPOC θΘЄOΔWPOC, full length figures of Theodore, wearing jeweled loros and holding anexikakia, sword hangs from his waist, and St. Theodore, nimbate, standing facing, wearing short military tunic and holding spear over shoulder, sword hanging from waist, both hold a labarum between them. SBV 2067; DOC 7. F/VF, flan crack. Very Rare.
