Sogdiana, Samarqand. Ca 700-750 A.D. AR "mug" drachm (31.3 mm, 3.17 g). ?Bukharakhudat type? type. Slightly distorted Sogdian legend ?Kings of Kings of Bukhara? on the right and remains of Pahlavi legend behind the head. Cf. Z-172243. EF, Sasanian style, derived from the standard drachm of Varahran V, minted in the Samarqand region.
