ΑΥ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟ , laureate head of Hadrian right, drapery on left shoulder / ΕΠΙ ΜΗΝ Α ΚΛ ΑΡΧ ΑΝΚΥΡΑΝΩΝ, Zeus, naked, standing facing, head left, holding anchor and long scepter. Ankyra is the Greek word for anchor and Zeus holding an anchor is a relatively common motif on the coinage of this city, a play on words on the city's name. Interestingly though, the city is landlocked and is nowhere near the sea!
