D N PLA VALENTINIANVS P F A[VG], diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Valentiunian III right / SALVS REI-[PVBLICAE], Victory walking left holding trophy over shoulder and dragging captive; (cross potent) // [RM]. Cf. RIC X 2108 (cross rather than P in field); Cf. LRBC 840. VF for type/era, somewhat skimpy flan (as usual) crowds legend, losing some letters; dark green patina with scant coppery highlights . Rare variety.
