Sogdiana, Samarqand. Ca 700-750 A.D. AR "mug" drachm (31.6 mm, 3.09 g, 9 h). ?Bukharakhudat type? type. Slightly distorted Sogdian legend ?Kings of Kings of Bukhara? on the right and remains of Pahlavi legend behind the head. Cf. Z-172243. VF-EF, Sasanian style, derived from the standard drachm of Varahran V, minted in the Samarqand region.
