Andronicus II and Michael IX. 1295-1320. AV Hyperpyron Nomisma (21.9 mm, 3.73 g, 6 h). Constantinople mint. Bust of the Virgin, orans, within city walls (with four sets of towers) / Andronicus on left and Michael on right, kneeling on either side of Christ, standing facing, crowning both emperors . SBCV 2396; Gr. 1292-3; LPC, pg 62, 1. Good VF for type, slightly light, irregular flan with ragged edges as typical. Well-centered and reasonably well-struck; slight surface toning.
