Moche Spondylus Bottle. A fine Moche effigy vessel from Peru, ca. 400 - 700 AD. This crisply molded example is 5-3/4" diameter and depicts a Spondylus shell, which was one of the most highly prized trade items for Andean cultures.  Intact, good mineral deposits. Ex Gallatin estate. Value range $300 - $500.
