An Egyptian faience ushabti, Late New Kingdom, ca. 1100 - 1056 B.C. , mummiform, wearing tripartite wig, arms folded across chest, a hoe in each hand; basket on back. H: 5? (12.7 cm). Surfaces are well-preserved with brilliant blue color with details in black, the inscription never put on the figure apparently. Some corrosion on the neck area, but an attractive example! Ex J. Rilling collection. Estimated Value: $1,500-2,000.
