An Egyptian faience ushabti, Late New Kingdom, ca. 1100 - 1056 B.C. , mummiform, wearing tripartite wig, arms folded across chest, a hoe in each hand; basket on back. H: 5? (12.7 cm). Surfaces are well-preserved with brilliant blue color with details in black, the inscription never put on the figure apparently. Some corrosion on the neck area, but an attractive example! Ex J.
