TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR PIMP P P, laureate head of Claudius right / SPES AVGVSTI // SC, Spes walking left holding flower and hitching hem of gown. RIC I 115; SRCV 1854. About VF, well-struck and centered, bust in excellent style, as patina, thick, dark brown encrustation in fields, aged brass on high spots of devices.
