Crowned and mantled bust of James I right; II behind / anepigrphic, thistle (mm) atop shield of British arms. SCE 2649; N 2076. VF for area/type, Nice, clear portrait of James I, small flat spots on both obverse - effecting legend - and reverse nearly obscuring mint mark; gray patina, old cabinet toning.
