P · [FON]TEIVS · P · f · [CAPT]IO · III · VIR , helmeted and draped bust of Mars right; trophy behind / MN · [FONT · TR ·] MIL, , warrior on horseback galloping right, thrusting spear downwards at kneeling enemy wearing Gallic helmet, holding sword and shield; to lower left, another enemy warrior, wearing helmet, kneeling right; Gallic helmet and shield to lower right.. RRC 429/1 ; CRR 900; RSC/Bab Fonteia 17; Kestner 3473; BMCRR Rome 3851. Rough VF, somewhat off-center on round flan losing some obverse legend; black patina deposits cover legend in some areas, gray toning elsewhere.
