Julia Mamaea. Augusta, A.D. 222-235. AE sestertius (29.5 mm, 16.25 g, 1 h). Rome mint, Struck A.D. 226. IVLIA MAMMAEA AVGVS[?]TA, diademed and draped bust of Julia Mammaea right / VES-TA, Vesta standing facing, head left, holding Palladium and scepter; S - C. RIC IV 708; C 83; SRCV 8236. VF, well centered on flan with several edge splits; obverse suffers from amateur cleaning attempt and minor double strike that slightly garbling the legend; patina (where it's left) pale olive.
