Ilkhans (Mongols of Persia), 2nd Period: Post-Reform Coinage. Uljaytu. 713-716/1304-1316. AR 2 dirhams (24.0 mm, 3.33 g, 10 h). Mint off flan, but should be one of the mints in northeastern Iran, A.H. 71x. Very Rare. Diler 371 var; Album 2188 var. VF. 

A variant of A-2188, struck from special dies intended for the 6-dirham (dinar) issues of type A-2187A, probably an unofficial issue, either clandestinely at an official mint or privately. Seen from time to time, often with very irregular weights.
