A pair of Egyptian amulets, Crocodile & Bes. A lot of 2 Egyptian amulets, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, the first a faience amulet of a crocodile, naturalistically rendered with some light blue color. L: 3.9 cm, the second is a carved steatite amulet of the god Bes with nice style and detail, H: 3.1 cm. First with tip of tail cleanly repaired the second with losses to headdress. Ex Negus collection, UK, acquired in the early 20th century. Value range: $150 $250
