An exceptional Moche III bottle from Peru, ca. 200 – 450 AD. This superb redware stirrup vessel is 8” high and is elaborately decorated with stingrays painted in black and white over the red slip. The designs are segmented to create a four-pointed star pattern. Intact, beautifully burnished, good mineral deposits. Ex Pachenko collection. Value range: $650 - $1000
