An Egyptian faience scarab with a pair of crocodiles, 3rd Intermediate Period, c. 1075 - 664 BC, the body nicely molded with detailed head and legs. On base, a pair of crocodiles head to tail. Intact, glaze now a greyish-green, holed lengthwise for suspension. 2.0 x 2.3 cm. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value range $200-$300
