Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Fouree denarius (3.00 g). Illegal mint. SEVERVS PIVS AVG, Laureate head right / FVNDATOR PACIS, Severus standing left, holding a branch. cf. RIC 160. VF. 

A flip-over double strike, with enough of the legends from both sides visible to determine the type. A very striking example of this type of mint 'error' and quite attractive as well.
