Constantine I "The Great" - Barbarous Imitation. c. 319-325 AD.. AE 3 (18 mm, 2.77 g). Laurel-helmeted cuirassed bust right; legend completely reduced to a decorative border-element of "I's"within dotted border / Two bare-headed Victories standing, facing each other, holding a roughly diamond-shaped, inscribed object meant to portray a shield with vota inscription above a short column or altar decorated with an X; 2 "X's" or stars in upper field between Victories' heads. Dotted border with no perceptible attempt at portraying a legend; exergue blank .
