Tiberius. A.D. 14-37. AV aureus (19.7 mm, 7.51 g, 5 h). Rome, A.D. 15-18. TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS, laureate head right / PONTIF MAXIM, Livia, as Pax, seated right on chair with ornate legs, holding inverted spear and olive branch, two lines below. RIC 27 var (triple line); BMCRE 39 var (same); Calico 305a. aVF.

Rare variation.

RIC I 27 is listed as having three lines below the chair. RIC 25 is listed with two lines below the chair but the chair should have plain legs and Pax should be holding a scepter instead of a spear. This coin does not appear to be listed in RIC or BMCRE. Rare.
