Moche Vase. A large Moche vase from Peru, ca. 400 – 700 AD. It is 9-3/4” high and is elaborately decorated with serpent symbols and geometric designs, painted in chestnut red over cream slip. Intact, with strong mineral deposits overall. Ex Gallatin estate.
