IMP CAESAR AVGVSTVS, bare head right / P QVINTILLVS V LRVS, Two aquilae vis-à-vis between two legionary standards. RPC 4535; Rouvier 493. gFine, black patina with red highlights. 

Verus later achieved fame as the inept leader who led three legions to destruction in the Teutoberger in the German campaign of 9 A.D. Rare historic type.
