Lot 23-232. Teotihuacan Tripod Dish.

Teotihuacan Tripod Dish. A fine Teotihuacan tripod dish from Mexico, ca. 300 – 400 AD. This Late Tlamimilolpa type is 3-5/8 in diameter and stands on the characteristic trio of nubbin feet. The rim is widely flared and there are find site notations on the bottom. Intact, with strong mineral deposits. Ex Magor collection. Cf. Berrin “Teotihuacan” page 239 for similar from the University of Pennsylvania Museum.
