Teotihuacan Candelero. An excellent Teotihuacan candelero from Mexico, ca, 400 – 650 AD. This fine Xolalpan type double-chambered incense burner is 2-1/2” wide and is decorated with a burnished rim and linear designs. Intact, with good mineral deposits and find site information inscribed on the bottom. Ex Magor collection. Cf. Berrin “Teotihuacan” page 239 for similar from the Smithsonian.
