Nazca Bowl. An excellent Nazca bowl from Peru, c. 200 - 400 AD. It is 6-7/8" in diameter and is decorated with conjoined crosshatched diamond designs, executed in white over dark brown slip. The rim and interior are dark red, the underside is orange. In excellent condition with good mineral deposits.  Ex Espinoza estate. Cf. Kroeber "The Archaeology and Pottery of Nazca, Peru", page 139. Value range $415 - $500..
