A choice Sasanian terracotta bulla, c. 3rd - 7th Century AD, the impression from a stamp seal nice clear and depicting man-headed lion walking rt., star before, inscription and crescent above. 3.8 x 3.9 cm, impression, 1.7 x 1.6 cm. Intact, longitudinal hole where it was attached to whatever it sealed. Ex Orange County private collection. Value Range: $300 - $350.
