Lot of 4 Egyptian Faience Amulets. A lot of 4 well-preserved and detailed Egyptian faience amulets, Late Period, c. 664 – 30 BC. Lot includes a light blue amulet of the sky god Shu, wearing a kilt and a solar headdress, his arms aloft supporting the sky (H: 2.6 cm), a smaller very detailed green-blue amulet of Shu, (H: 1.5 cm), a purple amulet of the god Bes wearing plumed headdress, (H: 1.8 cm), and a light blue seated Baboon, (H: 1.2 cm). The largest with losses to top of headdress, the others intact with good color. Each with a hole for suspension. Ex Negus Collection, UK, acquired in the early 20th Century. Value Range: $250 - $350 .
