Idoma Currency from West Africa, Early 20th century. A choice example of Idoma abstract currency from Nigeria, West Africa, Early 20th century. The piece is 30-1/4" long and is hammered from African iron, with a ridged, flattened, incised, and twisted surface. Very fine condition with oxidized, aged patina; comes mounted on custom steel base. Ex Cichon collection. Value range: $350 - $500.
