Lugdunum mint, Struck A.D. 8-10. laureate head left / ROM ET AVG, front elevation of the altar of Lugdunum decorated with a corona civica between laurels, these being flanked by stylized figures; to either side, Victories on columns facing each other. RIC 241b (Augustus); BMCRE 571 (Augustus). Fine, some pitting.
The left facing variety of this type is very rare.
