Moche Viringo Vessel. An adorable Moche zoomorphic jar from Peru, c. 400 – 700 AD. This fine orangeware vessel is 4-1/2” high and depicts a cute viringo puppy draped over the top of the chamber. The little canine’s face is highly expressive and the body and appendages are molded in relief. Decorative paint enhancements remain intact, strong mineral deposits. Ex Llerena collection.
