A Roman Orange-War jug from North Africa, c. 4th Century AD, the rounded body with low flared ring foot, constricted neck flanked by ring handles and wide mouth with ridged rim. The top of the vessel with parallel grooves and surfaces slipped in orange with glossy surfaces. H: 4 3/8 in (11.2 cm). Intact, light deposits. Ex Orange County private collection. Est.
