Moche Sodalite Beads. A lovely strand of Moche Sodalite beads from Peru, c. 200 – 700 AD, but perhaps earlier. It is 16-1/2" long and is comprised of graduated beads in beautiful blue shades. Ex Llerena collection. Cf. Hoyle "Los Mochicas II", page 72, for similar from the Herrera Museum. Value range $600 - $800.
