Daunian Oinochoe. A large Daunian oinochoe, South Italy, Late 6th - 5th Century BC, with tall, wide handle with curved top, the body rounded with flattened base, and the rim wide and flattened. The entire vessel is nicely decorated with banding and geometric patterns in red and dark brown slip. H: 10” (25.4 cm). Repaired, no restoration. Ex Orange County collection. .
