JamaCoaque Figure from Ecuador, ca. 300 BC - 400 AD. A beautifully detailed JamaCoaque figure from Ecuador, ca. 300 BC - 400 AD. This fine Chone type is 4” high and depicts an ornately attired shaman. He is lavishly adorned with a complex headdress with danglers flowing over the shoulders, necklace with large pectoral, bracelets and nose ornament. Good mineral deposits, mounted on stand. Ex Boston estate. Value range: $300 - $400.
