Valdivia bust from Ecuador, ca. 3500 - 1500 BC. A fine Valdivia bust from Ecuador, ca. 3500 - 1500 BC. This rare example is 1-1/2" high and is an unusual depiction of a female with a finely incised coif that covers much of her face. Mounted on stand. Ex Alex Acevedo, 1970’s. Cf.
