Tumaco Grater from Colombia, ca. 300 BC - 300 AD. A choice Tumaco zoomorphic-form grater from Colombia, ca. 300 BC - 300 AD. It is 5-1/2 long and was used as a ceremonial grater during manioc rituals. A small head and feet are appliquéd at one end. In excellent condition, with good paint and mineral deposits.
